Disney on Ice’s “Reach for the Stars” at the BB&T Center was an Adventure to Remember

This is Word Traveling’s fourth year partnering with #DisneyonIceSFL, but this is the first year I was able to attend with my family, and it far exceeded our expectations.

Word Traveling and its team received free admission to Disney on Ice in order to share an incredible discount offer and experience with you, our readers.

Although Disney on Ice’s “Reach for the Stars” was an exciting occasion for my whole family, it was especially magical for my 4-year-old!

At first, my older children weren’t sure what to expect, and my youngest child was a bit overwhelmed – she was even shy with Mickey Mouse – but once the show started, everyone’s eyes were glued to the rink

Impressive Feats

My 4-year-old stared in awe as the costumed skaters took to the ice, and her mouth dropped open in disbelief as “Ariel” spun from the ceiling in an unbelievable feat of aerial acrobatics. Even my skeptical 9-year-old son turned to me after seeing the aerial acrobatics and said, “That was impressive.”

And, he’s right, it was.

Disney Favorites

The performances were beautifully choreographed and never tipped into the region of corny as my husband was afraid they would.

We danced along to our favorite “Beauty and the Beast,” “Little Mermaid,” and “Tangled” songs, and sang loudly and unapologetically (at least I did) to “Frozen’s” “Let it Go.”

When we finally headed home, our kids declared it was one of the best nights they’d ever had, and they were talking about what they wanted to do “next time” we went to Disney on Ice.
