One of our favorite ways to travel has been exploring different Christmas celebrations from around the world! Last year, we were blessed to visit Old Quebec City in Canada and absolutely fell in love with the lights and European charm of the only walled city in North America in winter! One of our favorite family memories ever included the Christmas markets and charmin Germany.
Our Christmas tree is filled with ornaments we’ve collected on our adventures around the globe, and each year as we decorate, we reminisce over cobblestone streets, cruise ships, steaming volcanos, sea turtles and German Christmas markets. This year, we added a large globe ornament to our tree. Around the globe, we’ve sipped Glühwein (warm red wine with mulling spices) and toasted the season and each other as we indulged our senses with the sounds of carolers and the scents of fresh roasted chestnuts and mulling spices.
